Open Space Institute

A commission from the Open Space Institute to film, both from the air and ground, key areas within Minnewaska State Park for their online Story Map ‘Saving The Shawangunks’. It was a winning entry in the 2019 arcGIS 2019 StoryMapper of the Year Contest The story map can be viewed here. The video was also used as part of a capital campaign to stimulate funding for the new visitor center. Shot over multiple days at a number of well-known and much-loved locations such as Sam’s Point, Awosting Falls, Lake Minnewaska, and Hamilton Point.
